Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) contacted us several weeks before the premiere of Season 26: Athletes. DWTS asked to use our dance rooms the week Olympic skaters, Adam Rippon and Mirai Nagasu, were performing with Stars on Ice at the Giant Center. Adam and Mirai would rehearse with their professional dance partners, Jenna Johnson and Alan Bersten, in our dance rooms during the day and at the Giant Center in the evening.
Besides rehearsals, DWTS brought in a production team to film footage of the couples rehearsing, for Season 26: Athletes, which made it onto the premiere. Since Adam's hometown of Clarks Summit is nearby, WNEP-16's Sharla McBride came to interview Adam and Jenna. Besides DWTS and WNEP, our dance rooms have also appeared on Adam, Jenna, Mirai and Alan's Instagram and social media accounts.
