Picture Days

April 17 – 18, 2026

We're excited to begin a new chapter for our studio's Picture Days! For the first time in 35 years, we are partnering with a local photographer, Sheryl Z Photography. You can view examples of her work at sherylzphotography.com. We can't wait to see our students shine as they capture beautiful photos in their costumes from this year's dance show!

How to Schedule a Photo Session

  • Schedule Online – Book your session online.
  • Session Duration – Schedule one session per student, per costume. Each session lasts approximately 5 minutes.
  • Multiple Costumes? – If your student has more than one costume, we recommend booking back-to-back sessions to allow enough time for each look.

Picture Day Reminders

  • No Dance Classes – All classes are canceled on April 17-18, 2026 for Picture Days.
  • Arrive Early & Ready – Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, dressed in your first costume with shoes, hair, makeup, tights, and accessories ready to go.
  • Dance Shoes – Please be sure your student has the correct dance shoes for each costume (the same ones they will wear in the Dance Show).
  • Costume Guidelines – Costumes should be worn as received. Alterations for sizing are welcome, but all pieces must be included. No additional clothing or props may be used unless approved by the studio owner, Kristin Foltz Petrou.
  • Stay Flexible – We do our best to stay on schedule, but slight delays can happen. We truly appreciate your patience!
  • Need to Cancel? – If your student is unable to attend, please call us as soon as possible at (717) 652-1476.
  • No Purchase Necessary – There is no obligation to purchase photos..

New This Year: Online Photo Ordering

  • Online Gallery - All photos will be available to view and purchase online once they are ready.
  • Buy What You Love - Just like in previous years, there is no minimum purchase—you only buy the photos you love.
  • Verify Your Email - Please make sure your email address on file is correct so you don't miss important updates. If you've been receiving studio emails, you're all set! If not, please contact us to update your information. You'll receive a notification when your gallery is ready.
  • Picture Portal Day - We'll announce a special “Picture Portal Day” when galleries go live.
  • Order Early - If you plan to purchase photos, we recommend ordering early, as pricing may increase over time.

No In-Studio Pick-Up This Year

  • Photos will not be picked up at the studio this year.
  • All ordering will take place online through a personalized photo gallery for your convenience.
